Cosmetic Bonding
Cosmetic Bonding refers to the use of light cured technology to bond special composite materials to the existing tooth structure. Sometimes referred to as “white fillings”, the bonding in this patient involved the six front teeth. Cosmetic bonding can be used to repair and/or correct fractures, decay, staining, spaces, or other defects that occur from time to time. She also had the older metal displaying bridges you see in the back teeth replaced with new porcelain fused to metal cemented bridges. As you can see the results are impressive. Below is a close up of a broken tooth restored with bonding. A high degree of attention to detail is necessary to achieve the results evident in these two patients and this is the standard we strive to achieve with every treatment no mater how simple or complex it may be.
